Welcome to my blog all about fashion and beauty for petite women. Growing up, I always noticed that I was smaller than all the other girls in my classes. Length and weight wise. It never really affected me until I entered high school where I noticed an undeniable difference between my peers and I. While everyone else was purchasing their jeans from Hollister and American Eagle, I was still relying on Abercrombie & Fitch Kids for my needs. By the time I entered college having an “hourglass” shape was the new hype. I can’t even lie, I’ve watched those Youtube videos on how to get a bigger booty in less than ten days. (BTW, they never work). After going to the Rec Center on campus I realized two things. First, I hate working out. Two, why am I trying to live up to the hype. It’s super cringy and cliche but I’m fine the way I am. After this realization, I started doing more research on what looks most appealing on my body type and I realized how many other girls are going through the same thing. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still learning. However, I figured why not share my recommendations and journey with whoever actually cares.
Now that that’s over, let me introduce myself. My name is Adia Watson and I’m a senior at the University of Arizona majoring in Information Science and eSociety with a minor in marketing. I was born in Abington, Pennsylvania but lived in Phoenix, Arizona pretty much my whole life. I’ve been dancing since I was 14 years old and made sure I continued to do so in college. I’ve been on my university’s hip hop team, Black N Blue, for three years and I currently hold the role as president. For my viewers that will only continue to read my content based on my zodiac sign, I’m a libra. I’m always on the lookout for new music and you’ll always find songs relating to a specific topic for each of my posts. Favorite food is and will always be Chinese food.
Be sure to check out my portfolio for more projects I’ve worked on as well as freelance work for social media!
